The sales of the Hungarian breweries increased by 2.5 percent last year
Last year, the sales of the Hungarian breweries increased by 2.5 percent. Mainly the exports pulled the sales.
According to the beer market indicators published by the Association of Hungarian Brewers (MSSZ), a total of 6.7 million hectoliters of beer was sold by the four leading domestic beer producers in 2016, the Borsodi Sörgyár Kft., the Dreher Sörgyárak Zrt., the Heineken Hungária Zrt., the Pécsi Sörfőzde and the Carlsberg Hungary Kft. that is contributing to the domestic market with its imports beers. The improvement was solely attributable to exports, which grew by 40 percent in one year.
