Hungary in the elite of the cheese world
Hungary’s biggest cheese festival the 1st SZEGA Nations’ Festival of Cheese, was a great success, surrounded by a great interest beyond the expectations.
The event is a major milestone, as the International Guild of Cheese Masters that has about 40 countries and 6000 members established the Hungarian Guild, which enables Hungarian cheeses to gain an increasingly important role in the international arena. The winner of the Hungarian Cheese Competition has become the Baracskai semi-hard cheese, which can take part at the Mondial du Fromage 2019, one of the world’s most prestigious international cheese competition.
