Inflation in Hungary: higher then the EU average
In May 2011 consumer prices were 3.2 percent higher on average in the EU-27, compared to prices in May 2010. After the 2.8 percent in April, in May the rate of annual inflation was 2.7 percent in the eurozone – reported Eurostat. Prices grew the most in Romania, by 8.5 percent and in Estonia they were up 5.5 percent. In Hungary the annual inflation rate was 3.9 percent, the monthly rate was 0.2 percent.
