Hungary on the map of premium tourism – successful participation in the Connections Luxury event
The Connections Luxury concept is unique worldwide: participants not only participate in formal business negotiations, but also get to know each other and the destinations’ offerings through experience-based, informal programs. The One-to-One meetings, thematic experience programs and joint lunches organized as part of the program provided an ideal platform for Visit Hungary to present Hungary’s tourism offering based on premium experiences.
The new format of the event, the Power Hour, which consisted of four-minute business meetings over an hour, was particularly successful. The intensive “speed dating”-style meetings allowed key players in the British and Irish markets to gain a comprehensive picture of our country’s tourism values in a short period of time.
The British and Irish markets remain key for Hungarian inbound tourism. The participation in Manchester also confirmed that Hungary closely aligns with the values of Connections Luxury: an attractive destination for travelers looking for premium quality, authentic experiences and tourism solutions based on personal connections.
Visit Hungary aims to position our country even more strongly on the international map of luxury tourism in the coming years. The uniqueness of Hungary lies in the exclusive accommodations of the built heritage, the globally recognized Hungarian hospitality, the Michelin-starred gastronomy, the cultural diversity and the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
