Hungary is 63rd in the competitiveness rankings
Hungary is 63rd in the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Competitiveness rankings published every year. The 63rd place is three places lower than in the last year – the Kopint-Tárki Konjunktúrakutató Intézet informed MTI on Wednesday.
With this result Hungary is 24th in the EU28 preceding Greece (91), Slovakia (78) Romania (76) and Croatia (75).
No change occured at the lead; Switzerland remains the leader, followed by Singapore Finland, and Germany.
Among the Visegrad countries, the Czech Republic is on 46th place (slipping back by 7 place), while Poland is the 42nd, becoming the most competitive state in the region. (MTI)
