Bread of the Hungarians: 236 tons of wheat has been gathered until now
Until now, 236 tons of wheat was gathered in favor of the Bread of the Hungarians program. The collection continues at 46 collecting points of Hungary until 12 August – Győrffy Balázs, president of the National Agricultural Chamber (NAK) told on Sunday in Szarvas at the Central Wheat Collection Day.
He said that the central message of the Bread of the Hungarians program is to strengthen the idea of national togetherness, which refutes the misconception that Hungarians are not able to join forces.
The Bread of the Hungarians program was launched in 2011 in Pécs as a civil initiative, which has become a national symbol of togetherness and solidarity over the years. (MTI)
