MagyarBrands, the brand value
The Superbrands Hungary Council and its heads felt the growing need for paying special attention to Hungarian products, so in 2010 they launched the MagyarBrands programme.
MagyarBrands is a trade name that designates the programme which classifies and introduces the best brands of the country. Our experience is that it is increasingly important for Hungarian consumers to contribute to the development of domestic firms and Hungary’s economy through the products they buy.
MagyarBrands’ objective is to award brands which are in one way or another related to Hungary, brands which can be excellent representatives of Hungarian businesses even on the international stage. Values connected to the MagyarBrands brand constitute a palpable advantage on the domestic and international markets, with the help of which the reliability and prestige of products increases in the eyes of consumers.
The selection process is based on tendering and on nominations by the Superbrands Council. Hungarian brands can tender for the recognition in consumer and business categories by filling out a form.
