Hungarian competitors will compete at EuroSkills 2025 in Denmark
Hungary is represented by 27 competitors at the European Championship for young skilled workers, EuroSkills 2025, which began in Denmark on September 8. Competitors from 32 countries on the continent will compete in dozens of professions until Saturday, and the organizers are expecting around 100,000 visitors to the event.
In addition to traditional professions – such as carpenter, chef, and beautician – the Hungarian team will also compete in the latest fields, such as robotics and software development. Experienced mentors helped the competitors prepare.
The Hungarian EuroSkills team was presented in the spring at the 18th Szakma Sztár Festival, where it was also revealed that 60 percent of students now participate in domestic vocational training. The system employs nearly 24,000 instructors, and the institutional background includes 34 vocational training institutions and 5 sectoral knowledge centers.
EuroSkills competitions regularly provide feedback on the European standard of vocational training and provide an opportunity for young professionals to prove themselves in an international arena.
