Hungarian vacuum technology could revolutionize space nutrition
A Hungarian innovation could be at the center of space nutrition: Animal husbandry engineer Erzsébet Selymes-Stockdale uses a special vacuum drying process to produce plant-based powders that preserve nearly 100 percent of the active ingredients in vegetables and fruits.

The technology has also attracted the interest of the HUNOR Hungarian Astronaut Program, as the products made in this way can be consumed in weightlessness. The developments of the myCosmofood brand could revolutionize the nutrition of both health-conscious Hungarian consumers and astronauts.
