Hungarian Tourist Agency: more than a hundred programs await the celebrants in Budapest
More than a hundred programs are waiting for visitors to the capital on the celebration of the founding of the state, the festive fireworks that close the St. Stephen’s Day events will be accompanied by a spectacular light show, building painting and a drone show this year, the Hungarian Tourism Agency told MTI on Monday.
They wrote: during the weekend of the founding of the state, there are countless programs to choose from across the country, however, the majority of domestic and foreign guests traditionally come to Budapest for the joint celebration during these days. They added: in the series of programs celebrating the founding of the state, those interested can choose from hundreds of programs at more than twenty event locations over three days.
The series of events will take place in the most popular and most attractive parts of the capital from a tourist point of view. It was announced: the St. Stephen’s Day event series is considered one of the best European events by the international profession.
According to MTÜ, in addition to 14 mini-festivals, the Street of Hungarian Flavors and the Festival of Crafts featuring traditional folk crafts await families.
