Hungarian supplier Tesco also contributes to reducing emissions from food waste
According to a recent international survey by WWF and Tesco, surplus food from farm to table is responsible for producing 10 per cent of greenhouse gases. This is almost double the annual emissions of cars in the USA and Europe. Tesco is committed to reducing food waste and publishes its annual food waste report.
