Magazine: Hungarian stand at Gulfood
Hungarian companies introduced themselves – courtesy of HITA – for the third time at one of the world’s leading food fairs, Gulfood, organised in Dubai. On an exhibition area of 114,000m² 4,500 exhibitors from 120 countries presented their products and services to more than 80,000 trade visitors. At the 85m² Hungarian stand 16 companies (Aranynektár, Fit-Food, Gilan Trading, Hungarotej, Hunland Food, Lourdes Honey, Marathon-Foods, MIRELITE MIRSA, MC Scotland, Naponta, Nobilis, NT Kft., PM World Trade, Szentkirályi Mineral Water, Tatár Bakery, Wintertrade) were present and visitors were especially interested in honey, frozen products, canned and special food. All of them came well-prepared and the halal marking was present on the packaging of many products. HITA’s head of department Márk Mautner told that demand was the biggest for Hungarian honey, maize, peas and cheese.
