Hungarian beet producers will buy the former sugar factory
According to the informations of the Hajdú-bihari Napló, the former sugar factory in Kaba will be owned by Hungarians again.
The owner the Eastern Sugár Zrt. has been trying to sell the 270-hectares plant in vain, until a Slovak company made an offer. However, before the deal was set up, beet growers of Hajdú-Bihar county took their pre-emptive right, and bought the plant for hundreds of millions HUF.
