Magyar Posta: mail traffic may rise 10-15 percent this year
As a result of the growth of e-commerce, the domestic and international mail traffic may increase intensely, by about 10-15 percent this year.
Majtényi Kálmán, deputy general manager of the Magyar Posta Zr. told at a press conference on Wednesday that the bulk of the packages is still domestic orders, but sales grow intensively due to foreign orders as well. Last year, nearly 5 million packages registered mail received by the post offices. Most of the ordered goods were from China, the United States, the Netherlands, Singapore, Germany and Slovakia.
