Hungarian tomatoes and peppers on the shelves of PENNY
High-quality domestic tomatoes and peppers await customers in PENNY stores, further strengthening the company’s commitment to supporting Hungarian agriculture with this step.
From March 16, vegetables in four product categories, exclusively from Hungarian sources, will arrive in PENNY’s warehouses and stores. The juicy tomatoes and TV peppers, as well as the chunky hot peppers and lecho peppers on offer are thus, in a unique way, entirely of domestic origin at PENNY.
“The high-quality range of Hungarian tomatoes and peppers on our shelves fills the PENNY Hungary team with pride, as we are constantly looking for opportunities to contribute to the support of domestic agriculture. Shortening the sales chain and supporting sustainable, local food production are important parts of our commitment to transparency and quality, so we are happy to be able to serve our customers in cooperation with such excellent domestic supplier partners during this period.”
– said Eszter Kazatsay, head of communications at PENNY in Hungary.
