Helia-D became a sponsor of Hungarian women’s water polo

Péter Budaházy, HELIA-D Kft. executive director and Péter Lovas, president of the UVSE Water Polo Sports Association, announced the cooperation of the two organizations, based on which HELIA-D will become one of the prominent supporters of Hungarian women’s water polo. HELIA-D’s support is used by UVSE, among other things, for the training of youth players and travel costs for international matches.

The first joint appearance of UVSE and Helia-D took place at the Hungarian Cup qualifier on October 18, 2024, where UVSE successfully represented Hungarian water polo. Several important matches can be expected in the coming months: on October 30, the UVSE Helia-D – Szeged women’s OB/1 match, and on November 9, in the Euroleague match against CN Sant Andreu, the fans can see the team at home. This season, the girls will also compete in the Hungarian Cup and the Champions League series, and their goal is to retain their championship and cup winning titles from last year.
