A Hungarian small-scale brewery has achieved success in London
The Etyeki Sörmanufaktúra won silver and bronze medals among nearly 700 entries from more than 40 countries at the International Beer Challenge, considered the most important beer competition in the world in professional circles, in London.

A successful beer
This year, the International Beer Challenge took place for the 26th time. The submitted items are judged by blind tasting, the jury consists of beer industry experts, sommeliers, chefs, and procurement managers of retail and wholesale chains. This year, more than 700 items from more than 40 countries were nominated in the various categories.
In 2022, Etyek Sörmanufaktúra’s Princessin Edeck – Királyleányka Sparkling Ale beer won a silver medal, while Just for fun – Rozsos double IPA won a bronze medal. The status of the recognition is enhanced by the fact that we had to compete with products from traditional countries that have been brewing beer for centuries, such as Germany, Belgium, Great Britain or the United States of America, which in the last decade has cornered the so-called kraft beer market (small-scale craft beer).
