Hungarian spice paprika in Chio products
Intersnack buys more than 190 tons of Hungarian spice paprika this year. The Chio products manufacturer group will pay about 2 billion HUF for the business.
Each year, approximately 2,000 tons of spice paprika is grown in Hungary, especially in the region of Kalocsa and Szeged. Approximately 10 percent of the yield is purchased by the Intersnack Group the manufacturer of Chio products. A part of the spice paprikas will be processed at Intersnack’s Hungarian plant in Győr.
