A Hungarian and a Russian company are competing for the Serbian fertilizer factory
The Hungarian Nitrogénművek Zrt. and the Russian TogliattiAzot are also interested towards the fertilizer factory in Pancevo, which will be sold by the Serbian government until March – the Vecernje Novosti Serbian newspaper wrote.
The largest Russian ammonia producecer is seriously interested therefore “lent” gas to the unprofitable Serbian company in order to restart production that stopped last June, and to prepare to receive the new strategic partner. The value of the “lent” gas is about 20 million USD. The new owner have to repay the price of the “lent” gas to TogliattiAzot. (Markovics Annamária, MTI)
