Hungarian and Polish goose meat will be on the tables in Germany at Christmas
At Christmas, goose meat imported predominantly from Hungary and Poland will be on the tables in Germany, according to a report by the Federal Statistical Office, Destatis, published on Tuesday.
Last year, Germany imported 19,444 tons of goose meat, 97.5 percent of which came from Hungary and Poland. In 2019, 2,866 tons of goose meat from domestic slaughter in Germany. (MTI)
