Hungarian melon campaign at the business network of Spar

With the ripening of the Hungarian melon the sales have began at the same time in the Spar and Interspar stores.

Since last week end, only Hungarian melon shipments have arrived to the central storages of Spar. The first significant amount of items are shipped by Békés County farmers to the company – indicated the announcement.

The Spar supports the initatives of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) and the Melon Farmers Association and the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation and Product Board (FruitVeB) that aims to promote the consumption of Hungarian melon, and joins to the campaign to encourage the consumption of the Hungarian fruit.
