Shell Mobility, which made its debut in Slovenia, entrusted the support of its IT system to a Hungarian company
Shell Mobility recently appeared in Slovenia, and the background support of their fuel stations in the destination country was entrusted to one of the leading Hungarian companies in the retail IT sector, Laurel. The two-week test period has ended, so the modern solution is now fully operational at the gas stations there.
Laurel, who is 30 years old this year, was asked for the Hungarian tasks of the high-added-value project through a tender. Last fall, Shell Hungary zRt successfully installed and commissioned the new, localized system. 196 at the filling station. Since then, the company has supported the affected gas stations with, among other things, helpdesk services and on-site service.
“All this provided an excellent basis for extending the cooperation to another country. We can be proud that our well-known international partners found us to be well-trained and prepared to implement the introduction in Slovenia as planned and within a short period of time. All of this reflects great confidence, as the first Shell wells were recently started in our south-western neighbor”
– said Attila Bessenyei, managing director of Laurel.
