The Rákóczi cellar of the Castle of Munkács was opened with the presentation of Hungarian wines
With the presentation of the wines of five Hungarian wine region, the Rákóczi Ferenc II wine cellar of the Castle of Munkács was opened on Friday in Munkács.
Potápi Árpád János, Minister of State of Prime Minister’s Office emphasized that the Castle of Munkács symbolizes the history of the entire region with its past and historical atmosphere that can be connected not only to the Hungarians, but to the other peoples and nationalities living in Transcarpathia. This is a common homeland of the region to Hungarians, Ukrainians, Ruthenians, Rumanians and Slovaks, who have settled here for centuries – he added. (Varga Béla, MTI)
