Hungarian wineries won 44 medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London
The Hungarian competitors won 2 platinum 8 gold, 18 silver and 16 bronze certifications. A further 21 Hungarian wines were awarded with a certificate of merit.
One of the world's most important wine competition, the Decanter World Wine Awards 2016, lasted for five days. The jury of the world's most prestigious international wine experts chose the field of the competition from more than 13 thousand wines. A total of 64 wines of 31 Hungarian wineries took part at the event. (MTI)
