A Hungarian wine won a gold medal at the Eurasian Wine and Spirits Competition
The competition was held in cooperation with the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) and according to its rules at the All-Russian Exhibition Center (VDNH) in Moscow from 13 to 15 April. The jury consisted of renowned international experts who judged in a 100-point system by blind tasting. Only 30 percent of the wines entered for the competition could receive prizes and only grand gold medals were awarded, one of which was won by the Tokaj aszú of the Mádi winery – THE Demetervin Winery told MTI on Tuesday.
