Magyar Bankholding: from May, the merged MKB and Takarékbank will continue to operate under the name MBH Bank
Next May, Magyar Bankholding’s MKB Bank Nyrt. and Takarékbank Zrt. will merge. The new bank will continue to operate under the name MBH Bank Nyrt., with a unified brand name and image – Magyar Bankholding announced to MTI on Tuesday.
Based on its balance sheet total of more than HUF 10,000 billion, MBH Bank will be the second largest bank in Hungary with around 2.3 million customers, as well as the market leader in corporate lending and agricultural financing, they wrote in the announcement.
The bank group will introduce the new brand name in May 2023, the larger, flagship branches will be renewed first, after which the branches will be rebranded gradually. From May, the entire bank card portfolio and online interfaces will be renewed under the new image.
