Information about compensation
The amount of the damage mitigation contribution payment obligation at plant level is the area for the cultivation of arable crops and field vegetables, as well as the area declared in the unified application until June 9 of the current year, and in the unified application until July 15 of the current year (this year, the July 15 holidaydate: until July 17, 2023) will be determined taking into account the main plant culture.

By August 15, 2023, the Hungarian State Treasury will notify the agricultural producer in a decision of the amount of the damage mitigation contribution payment obligation. When determining the obligation to pay the damage mitigation contribution, as well as the entire area of plant culture included in the application for the damage mitigation benefit, it cannot be taken into account in the unified application after July 15 of the current year (in view of the public holiday on July 15 this year: July 17, 2023) area affected by reported correction, partial or full withdrawal, area change resulting from changes in plant culture, and replanting.
