The COPA elected a Hungarian Vice-President
Kis Miklós Zsolt the General president of the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAK) was elected as the Vice-President of the most influential European-level representation of the interests of individual farmers (COPE).
From now Kis Miklós Zsolt is the Vice President of COPA, which is legally defined as the primary consultative partner of the EU institutions on behalf of producers. His mandate is for two years.
The President of COPA became the Dutch Albert Jan Maat. The organization's vice-president positions will be filled in between 2013-2015 by Kis Miklós Zsolt, the French Xavier Beulin, the Harry Sinclair from Northern Ireland, Ricardo Serra Arias from Spain and the Polish Jerzy Chróścikowski and Maira Dzelzkalēja from Latvia.
