Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture: the condition of sunflower crops is souring
According to the Crop Production Department of the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture the hot and dry weather conditions deteriorated the status of the sunflower stock markedly in recent days, compared to the good condition of two weeks ago – the public body informed MTI on Tuesday.
According to the communication, sunflower is cultivated on a record large area this year, on 617 thousand hectares, however, prolonged bad weather is causing concerns. However, the health status of sunflower plant are still satisfying. (MTI)
