Halewood launches Maguires cider
Halewood International is looking to pick up a slice of the booming cider market through the launch of a new brand – Maguires.
There are two ciders in the portfolio, an original apple and
pear version, both sold in 500ml glass bottles at 4.5 per cent ABV. On-trade
stockists are advised to serve both of them over ice.
The two products, which have been in development for the
last 18 months, are being targeted at 25-30 years olds, with pear being
particularly focused at females.
They are both being showcased at various sampling events
across the UK over the summer, including next week's Bar Show at Earl's Court
Two.
