Magosz cannot prepare for the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy
It is not possible to prepare for the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy in one year, which must be developed in accordance with the new environmental regulations, ie the Green Agreement, because this would require a completely new technology in agriculture – Jakab István, National Association of Hungarian Farmers and Cooperatives told Kossuth Radio on Monday.
The president said that the new regulation would practically “beat us to death in our own markets.” This means setting very strict rules for farming, while the European Union’s largest investors can import crops from third world countries indefinitely. Under such circumstances, Hungarian agriculture is unable to kick the ball, he added. (MTI)
