Magfrut: good sales opportunities for the Hungarian fruits and vegetables
Hungarian producers can transport large quantities of asparagus, melons, pears, cherries and various salads from Hungary to Italy and to many other States of Western Europe – said Luciano Trentini, consultant of Magfrut on Thursday in Budapest.
Luciano Trentini, who is also the international representative of the Italian fruit and vegetable growers' trade organization told that vegetable and fruit cultivation in the western countries of the union declines because of the crisis. Thus, in many cases the production is shifting to the new member countries providing many new opportunities for Hungarian producers as well. (MTI)
