Magazine: New American fast food restaurant chains in Hungary, but this time it is not hamburger
Villa Enterprises is a franchise with 330 restaurants in 8 countries. The company is now looking for business partners in Hungary. Villa Enterprises is trying to sell the franchise rights for all 4 quick-service restaurants of its 9 brands: Villa Italian Kitchen (pizza and Italian food), Green Leaf’s (salad and sandwich bar), Bananas (fruit smoothies and frozen yoghurts) and South Philly Steak and Fries (steak). In our magazine’s view the biggest potential lies in the first two. Our magazine contacted company vice president Seamus MacTreinfhir (via the US embassy’s Commercial Service), who told that Villa Italian Kitchen uses traditional Italian recipes to make pizzas, pastas, strombolis and starters, while Green Leaf is basically a healthy fast food restaurant offering salads, wraps, grilled Panini sandwiches and soups. Villa Enterprises would like to set its feet in Budapest first and would prefer one franchisee in the capital city; other cities would follow in the next phase.
