Magazine: The colours of a cup of black coffee
The best moments often occur when one enjoys a cup of coffee with another person. It is very important for our partners to serve their guests the same delicious cup of coffee they enjoy in their homes. This can be done using coffee machines that guarantee constant high quality. Nestlé Professional makes it a priority to never stop innovating and developing, in the domain of both coffee machines and related services. We compiled the NESCAFÉ Alegria coffee machine portfolio in accordance with this. Nescafé Alegria professional coffee machine systems give consumers the perfect coffee experience in the simplest way possible. The brand is already present in 109 countries all over the world, including Accor and Mercure hotels. We have picked three hotels – all of them Nestlé Professional partners – located in different parts of Hungary, and asked them what factors do they consider when choosing a coffee machine, and how do they satisfy various guest needs?
Eszter Zsitva, PR Manager, Aquincum Hotel Budapest: One of Aquincum Hotel Budapest’s main business lines is organising various events and conferences. Coffee is a central element of these programmes, so we need to use stylish but low-key machines that are capable of serving hundreds of guests with high quality brews. By using Nestlé’s machines we can prepare coffee specialties at the push of a button. For instance in the Executive Lounge a Nescafé Milano coffee machine is available for guests to use. A 5-star hotel like ours must serve 5-star coffee, this is the reason why we use Nestlé machines and coffees. About 20kg of coffee is consumed at our events and in the bar. These days guests are knowledgeable about coffee, so we have to be up to date on coffee trends. We manage to do so, thanks to our excellent baristas and Nestlé’s products. Attila Sághy, operations director, Hotel Azúr, Siófok: Being a conference hotel, we need coffee machines which are capable of producing hundreds of cups in just 15-20 minutes, during the breaks in the programme. For us Nestlé Alegria is the perfect choice: it is economical, stylish, modern and easy to use. The machines we use have 20-litre water tanks, so that they can be operated everywhere in the hotel. For most people coffee is much more than a cup of strong brew: drinking coffee has become a ceremony, a way of socialising or sharing a moment with someone. Since our hotel is big, the number of cups of coffee we serve is in the tens of thousands – guests drink it at breakfast, in the restaurant, in the three bars and when there is a coffee break in programmes. Rudolf Görög, operations director, Hotel Barack, Tiszakécske: The Nestlé coffee machine we use at breakfasts not only has an elegant design, but is also practical (easy to use, easy to clean and requires no direct connection to mains water supply) and makes many different types of top-quality brew. We have set the number of cups to match the average guest number of the hotel, but it can also do the job in the summer high season. More and more guests want high quality and a large number of varieties to choose from, and we can satisfy their needs with Nestlé machines. (x)Related news
