Parcel vending machine use can only become more frequent if online shops improve their IT systems: the machines can only hold relatively small parcels but online shops sell big objects too, therefore they have to check all product data and add new data if maximum product size isn’t included. It is also possible that someone may buy more products – some of which can be picked up from a machine, while others can’t – so retailers need to make sure only the proper ways of delivery are offered to these customers.
