Magazine: OK or KO: will Dairy Queen enter Hungary?
Dairy Queen didn’t give up its plan of entering Central Europe. Last October, when the company placed its partner seeking ad for the second time. The problem is that the business partnership offered by DQ lacks ‘win-win’ characteristics so to say, for instance the franchise fee would be very high and Hungarian franchise partners would have to finance many costs such as the launch of the brand – at the same time DQ forgets about the fact that the DQ brand is practically unknown in the region. If DQ wants to do well in our region, they have to change their business strategy. As far as we know, the first steps have been taken in this direction.
