Magazine: All Quiet on the Western Front…
Vilmos Major, the manager of Tercia Hubertus Restaurant in Sopron is the president of MVI’s North West region. He told Trade magazine in an interview that he has many friends and business relations in the region and thanks to this he managed to recruit new members to MVI. As for trade life in the Sopron region, the president’s view is that the profession used to be more active, but the current situation is in part the result of economic recession. Luckily, there is cooperation between different representatives of the trade and once the economic crisis is over and guests return to restaurants, the professional community will become more active. Currently restaurant owners follow the strategy of offering cheaper, traditional dishes and they are trying to use as many fresh local ingredients as possible.
