Magazine: A hero from our past
A book has been published telling the life story of István Lukács, Hungary’s most famous chef in the period before the political transformation in 1990. He is the only chef in the world to have won the profession’s Oscar award three times. He was the head chef Hotel Aranyhomok in Kecskemét, Budapest (Kör-)Szálló, Hilton Hotel in Buda Castle and Atrium Hyatt. The chef told his story to journalist Gábor Kolbe.
