Magazine: Michelin impossible?
This spring two restaurant guides were published and Károly Rudits’ Vár: a Speiz, got the BIB Gourmand rating, meaning that it has the potential to qualify for a Michelin star. On the contrary, Gault et Millau did not give a single chef’s hat to Vár: a Speiz. Mr Rudits told our magazine that the number of their guests definitely increased since earning the BIB Gourmand rating. The Michelin star is not a primary goal for the restaurant but they are not afraid of winning one.
