Magazine: Good results in the WACS world final
The World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) – which has 105 member states and unites nearly 10 million chefs and gastronomy experts – organised the world final between 25 and 27 September in Thessaloniki. Chef Richárd Elek (Fausto’s, Budapest) and pastry chef Dávid Domonkos (Sugar! Design Confectionery, Budapest) represented Hungary in the final. Mr Elek and his commis, Barnabás Hack finished 11th (from 20 countries) and Mr Domonkos and his commis, Dániel Kiss came in 6th (from 10 countries).
