Magic recipe
Those who know me also know that our company has been dealing with premium dairy products and dairy substitutes for nearly 8 years, and with other FMCG products for 20 years. What we see on our domestic market is that we are still lagging far behind Western Europe in terms of yoghurt consumption, e.g. Germans consume 17.5 litres per person – Hungarians consume 7 litres per capita. How do they do it in the west? Quality, innovation and originality are the key words. Survey results showed that this is what Hungarian consumers want too, but our retail partners are not always open to this yet. Last year 1.5 percent more yoghurt drinks were sold in Hungary, while in Western Europe small yoghurt drink multipack sales dropped. We didn’t use a magic recipe: the growth was the result of numerous innovations.
