Magazine: The store of the future at SIRHA Budapest (Part 2)
Many visitors noticed the device above the drink shelves upon entering the store. HiperCom mounted a camera above the gondola that records shopper behaviour and the data can be analysed to understand consumers better. Win-Store introduced many new moving, lenticular and digital solutions on the shelves. Coca-Cola’s fridges featured gravity dispensers to make choosing a product easier and quicker for customers. Win-Store invited ‘shoppers’ to play a Nestea wheel of fortune game with the help of SensoMedia’s digital totem with a camera. While it was taking pictures of players, customers had the chance to check out PICK’s stunning deli counters and they even had the opportunity to taste their products. Szintézis’ large size Pricer labels were used in the counter: they displayed lots of useful information besides the price. Bizerba’s intelligent scales also provided information and displayed advertisements – they can even be ordered with 3D displays, games and various apps. The company’s ceramic-plate slicers are a must for deli counters: products don’t stick on them so they’re absolutely hygienic, easy to clean and economical as well. Conint-Print’s special, wine bottle-shaped roll-up marked the next stop in the tour around the Future Store, where 22 types of wine, sparkling wine and pálinka tasting was waiting for visitors. Those who had to drive home could quench their thirst with Szentkirályi mineral water and have a bite of MIZO cheese. Most shoppers put baked goods in their baskets, therefore this section can be of key importance in stores. Wanzl’s baked-good offering cabinet meets the strictest hygienic and aesthetic requirements. Those who like to take home their bread sliced can use Bizerba’s slicer (with adjustable slice thickness). One of the best marketing tools imaginable is the scent of freshly baked goods – this fact was perfectly indicated by the popularity of Pek-Snack’s delicacies; the franchise system provides partners with everything, from counters to ovens to frozen products. Well, the smell of freshly brewed coffee is another in-store winner. Nestlé’s professional coffee maker is perfect for hotels and B&Bs – it is needless to say that coffee was also supplied by Nestlé: the company brought its latest products, NESCAFÉ Classic Crema and NESCAFÉ 3in1 Brown Sugar. NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto is the only home coffee maker that uses the 15-bar pressure of professional machines, so that we can always have perfect coffee and milk foam when enjoying a cuppa at home. Capsules contain a carefully selected mix of roasted and ground arabica and robusta beans. With Maggi Fortélyok bases – new Maggi spices and lemon roast chicken base or Maggi cream and four-cheese chicken breast base – women can cook delicious dishes in just 10 minutes. BOCI Coconut Cube and Black Forrest chocolate can be the dessert. Family cats don’t stay hungry either: they can munch Friskies Crunchy&Soft bites, Felix Party Mix or Felix Sensations.
