Magazin: Taste and style
Those who couldn’t watch the competition inside had the chance to follow the final on television screens outside. In this area a so-called Taste Hungary zone was set up, where members of the Stylish Restaurants in the Country (SVÉT) association were cooking for spectators. SVÉT founder László Ruprecht told our magazine that domestic and international visitors had the opportunity to taste the characteristic dishes and matching wines of Hungarian regions, cooked by SVÉT member restaurants. SVÉT was established three and a half years ago and currently has 14 member restaurants – most of them represent the modern bistro style. They regularly share their professional experiences with each other and organise one big event a year.
