Magazin: MVI’s gala dinner 2013, I,
MVI dedicates its 2013 gala dinner to the oeuvre of Károly Gundel. The event was held in Mezőkövesd’s Balneo Hotel Zsóri after the present issue of Trade magazine went to press, on 30 November. At the prestigious gala Gundel period dishes are prepared by teams of two (top chefs from the younger and older generation).

It is an honour to be a member of the senior ‘team’ at an event where in a sense we have to fill the shoes of Károly Gundel. Since we have to cook in his spirit, tradition and modernity will meet at the gala dinner. I am delighted to work with Ferenc Rácz because we share the same philosophy. We did a bit of research before choosing the course we prepare and there is one element which I will be doing for the first time: I hope it will work out – the guests will decide whether I succeeded.
