Magazine: The don’ts of grilling
Always avoid using liquid lighters. Never start the barbecue without pre-heating the grill. Don’t use a charcoal grill until the charcoal reaches a constant temperature, otherwise you won’t be able to control the roasting process and you will lose flavours. Don’t lift the lid too often. The flame mustn’t be too big because it is bad for the food. Don’t put BBQ sauce on the food too early, because the sauce may turn bitter. Always clean the grill before using it.
