Magazine: Edible QR codes
A German company combines QR codes with a cookie mix: consumes can use Qkies to make and bake cookies before decorating them with the 20 enclosed QR codes, which are printed on edible paper. The recipient of the cookies can scan the QR codes using their phone to be directed to a party invitation, a personalised website or basically anything the internet offers –as intended by the sender and set by them on the manufacturer’s website. In Harney, a restaurant in California they put edible QR codes on sushi, which guests can scan to see where their fish was hooked.
