Magazine: Cooperation in Soho, London to protect the environment

In London’s Soho more and more bars and restaurants join the movement that started last year: these places are fighting for a drastic reduction in plastic drinking straw usage or for banning them if possible. Currently guests at 28 places in Soho only get drinking straws if they specifically ask for them. According to movement founder website strawwars.org, every year a million seabirds and one hundred thousand sea animals die because of plastic waste that ends up in the sea.
