High-ranking awards for food industry and trade professionals
In connection with the National Day of the Republic of Hungary, Linda Szommerné Egyed, owner of Fino-Food, Frank Odzuck, CEO of Zwack Unicum Nyrt., and Csaba Kanizsai-Tóth, CEO of FÁN Group, received state awards from Dr. István Nagy, Minister of Agriculture.
Linda Szommerné Egyed received the Pro Alimentis Hungariae Award in recognition of her work in promoting domestic milk consumption, her work in strengthening the dairy industry, her outstanding achievements in innovative product development, her steps taken for sustainable milk processing, and her active role in the field of community responsibility.
“This recognition is a great joy, honor and also a responsibility for me, which is not only for me, but for the entire FINO family. The employees of Fino-Food Kft. work every day to ensure that healthy milk, dairy products and vegan products designed for those sensitive to milk protein are on the table of Hungarian people. That is why developments and innovations are continuous, in which our great partners are the domestic higher education institutions”
– emphasized Linda Szommerné Egyed, Managing Director, in connection with the award.
Frank Odzuck, CEO of Zwack Unicum Nyrt., also received the Pro Alimentis Hungariae Award, who was awarded the award for his decades of excellent work in the food industry and as President of the Hungarian Spirits Association and Product Council.
Frank Odzuck, CEO of Zwack Unicum Nyrt., has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2003 and since 2004. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a foreign trader and university researcher in the former GDR. From 1990, he was the managing director of Eduscho Hungary, and from 1998, Schöller and Nestlé-Schöller. From November 2006, he became a member of the board of directors of Magyar Telekom Plc.
