Grant amount for organic farming applications increases

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday, the head of the ministry drew attention to the fact that the Hungarian agriculture and food industry will have a historic development opportunity within the framework of the Renewable Countryside Program, and the economy and communities of rural areas may be further strengthened. To this end, the government will provide 80 percent of the national additional funding for the Rural Development Program. Thus, already during the transition period, it will be possible to announce new tenders, increase the amount of certain open calls, and update previous grants, Nagy István added. (MTI)
