The competition authorities can raid in private homes during “morning raids”
Wider powers during the morning raids. It will be possible to use secret recordings as evidence, the decision approving the commitment can be revoked. Since the beginning of the year, the competition law has changed in several respects.
“By broadening the tools of the Competition Authority and expanding and making more flexible the possibilities for cooperation between undertakings and the authority, the legislator aims to further reduce infringements”. (Schönherr Hetényi Law Office)
